Overview
The Corporation was incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario on August 9, 2023. The Corporation’s registered office and records office is located at 110 Yonge Street, Suite 1601, Toronto, Ontario, M5C 1T4. Its head office is located at Alatie 2B, 96100 Rovaniemi, Finland. The Company’s common shares traded started trading on the TSX Venture Exchange (“TSXV”) under the symbol “MFL ” on August 19, 2024. When the company went public, approximately 25% of the number of shareholders were Finns. Most of these Finnish investors are private people coming from the same region as the Rajapalot project location.
The Corporation is an exploration stage mining development company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of precious and base metal properties in Finland. The Corporation currently holds a 100% interest in the Rajapalot Gold-Cobalt Project located in Finland. In Finland, all operations are carried out through the company’s fully owned subsidiary, Mawson Oy.
The Corporation’s principal property is the Rompas-Rajapalot Property. The Rompas-Rajapalot Property consists of 11 granted exploration permits for 11,024 hectares and 2 exploration permit applications and a reservation notification area for a combined total of 41,316 hectares.
Vision
Mawson Finland Limited was formed to have a sole focus on the rapid advancement of the Rajapalot Gold-Cobalt Project. The Company has a strong local management team who are committed to the proper and continuous engagement with the local stakeholders and all Finnish government authorities. Mawson Finland aims to create shareholder value by conducting all activities with balanced efficiency and also by maintaining a tight shareholder structure going forward.
